How I'd like my Dart

I found out about the contest yesterday...and have not slept since. I started by researching and found about 4/5 images I wanted to use as a references for my illustration. I wanted it to be unique and not just be a rendering of a photo. It needed to look like a super-hero in a graphic novel. I chose 'Citrus Peel Pearl' as the color and I took the liberty of envisioning it as an SRT model. The dark hood with a splash of color on the scoop are a through back to the Dart’s namesake. The hood scoop it’s self is similar to the “Dart GTS 210 Tribute Concept” and the stripes are similar to that of other Dodge offerings.

The car was designed 100% vector in Illustrator and then placed in photoshop where the background was added. I created a texture based off of the Dart’s grill and incorporated it into the background, as well and ghosted Dart in the foreground.

Total time spent is 19hrs from start to finish without sleep.
